You know something I find amazing?
God's love for us.
I know that sounds super cheesy, but seriously.
The depths of His love have been blowing my mind lately.
God is so patient with us.
No matter how many times we surrender our stuff to Him, He never gets annoyed with us.
He never gives up on us.
He never forgets about us.
He reaches out to us even when we slap Him in the face.
He gives us more than we deserve.
He's right there by our side, no matter what we're feeling or thinking.
He walks with us through it all, no matter how many times we push Him away.
Through every trial, struggle, or pain; He has something better for us to gain.
Something that is exceedingly better than anything we could've possibly imagined.
He never lets what we've lost remain the best we'll ever have.
He never lets us wander alone.
He leaves the 99 for us.
Just to be with us.
Because He loves us so much, He wants a personal relationship with each and every one of us.
I've seen His love painted in the sky, when I've driven home in tears.
I've seen His love through a text from a friend, when I read what they didn't know I needed to hear.
I've seen His love written in laughter, when I never thought it'd start.
I've seen His love dancing in the eyes of another; when a glance can shift my heart.
I've seen His love in so many places, in so many faces, I'm stunned.
To think that love is but a glimpse...
I could write for years but I'd never be done.
I see it in a child.
I see it in the wild.
I see it in the rain.
I see it in the pain.
I see it in a smile.
And every once in a while...
I see it in me too.
God... I love You.
This life is an earthquake. Always moving, always shaking us unexpectedly... Come journey with me as we discover the peace hidden in it all.
